Yes, I am back again with more Off-Campus shenanigans. But, I assure you all this one was MUCH better than the first one.

Let's dive in.

Short Summary: the best friend of the captain of the hockey team accidentally shoos away the ACTUAL girl of his dreams in a hasty attempt to get over a doomed crush.

Cue the gasping in the audience.

Now, as soon as I started this book, I was immediately drawn into John Logan (literally Logan for short) and since then, his journey to get over his best friend's girlfriend leads to an accidental meeting with Grace Ivers.

I LOVE LOGAN EVERYONE!! We get to see someone who works hard (I spotted marketing classes and grinned from ear to ear!) and we get to see him not sound super gross like Garrett does when describing women. Whereas this dude would objectify and makes comments about women's body, Logan on the other hand, would be more respectful and mention how "pretty" Grace was. NOT TO MENTION HOW HE ALWAYS ASKED FOR CONSENT.

Literature tends to just have us assume there is consent in sex and while that may be the case, sometimes that isn't the case and it very rarely gets explicitly mentioned in books so when it does, let me just say that it adds some bonus points.

So, Logan's Mistake? A pretty dumb one but as he works to fix his mistake and to prove how much he loves her and how hard he is willing to work to win her back is what ultimately sold me on Logan and how he has my heart. I teared up at certain parts of the book that moved me and despite that, once I reached the end of the book, I felt fulfilled and happy.

So, that marks an automatic 5 stars for me as the "performance review" (iykyk)

Overall:5/5 stars
