Behind every story, there is a writer and behind that writer, there is an idea.

Hi.

For those who know me, I'm Megan but for those who don't know me... well, you know my name now. When this idea was born in the peak of the pandemic, I saw it as the beginning of a book blog that hopefully wouldn't be abandoned during the crazy quest of life, but while some may be wondering why should there be another book blog, or what exactly is different about this blog, well... let me start off with a few facts about myself.

1. I'm left handed (Hi to all the lefties out there!) I know how rare it always is to find someone else who has this trait, so if you're in this same boat, then welcome. We all get to be rare together.

2. I'm studying two degrees: to become an English Teacher and Communication studies with a minor in Classical Studies.

3. I LOVE Spongebob (been a fan since 2008!) So, when I say I'm a fan, it's as in I'm one of the hardcore fans out there who will know nearly what every episode is about, will have SpongeBob shirts, sweatpants, sweaters, pajamas, socks, figurines, stickers, posters... you name it and I probably have it.  As it is such a big love of mine, this became the central theme of my blog: to acknowledge the books that have absorbed my interest (like SpongeBob!) and may do so for other readers out there. I'm an aspiring author trying to get published!

4. When I'm not reading, writing, studying, or worrying full time about what the future will look like, I'm likely to be chatting with somebody on social media, chatting with friends IRL (because I'm a people person at the end of the day)  listening to all sorts of music, occasionally watching films and tv shows and my comfort show, which yes, will be SpongeBob.

5. I've worked as a  research assistant/ marketing and event planner in promoting an anthology collection called Growing Up Chicago.  I've worked with 2 non-profit organizations, one where I worked with asylums and refugees as a coordinator for youth mentoring and hiring interns, and the second was a marketing associate/event planner!

Now that you all know a bit more about me, get ready to deal with my journey as I rant about books (and recommend music along the way!)
