Because I clearly didn't have enough of the four brothers.

Here we go again. After the last attempt of the Hawthorne brothers and my very risky gamble of continuing to read this series, here we are with book 2 that DEFINITELY delivered more this time around.
Short Summary: Our poor girl turned billionaire has to search for the homeless guy she played chess with along with two Hawthornes pulling her heart, more attempted killings and a lot of intents of Arson along the way.
Long Summary: Avery Grambs has more questions rather than answers as to why Tobias Hawthorne left her his fortune. But now, the brothers consider her family. And now, there's a new game to play, a new mystery to be solved and... more complications. Toby Hawthorne is alive, and this entire time, he had been close to Avery, all to just disappear.
And he will play all the cards to not be found again.
But Avery Grambs has always been a risky gamble, and, she won't let go of this game. Especially with the possibility that perhaps he may be her father.
OMG THIS BOOK. It was absolutely wacky, chaotic, mysterious and brain numbing all at once, but it definitely delivered on developing the characters better. Xander is still my favorite by far. Jameson is a lot more likable now, I still hate Grayson and will forever stand on my little hill that Nash Hawthorne is sus.
I will also always whisper all the lines these brothers say in southern accent tones, knowing I will never be able to get it right >_<
Overall: 4/5 stars
